Sea Shells

Hello, and happy Saturday to everyone!!! I moved this week, and my new place is in complete chaos! Especially my crafting supplies, completely crazy! However, I had a card made from a few months ago, and thought I would share it with you today. I used some stamps from DeNami Design, they are from a four stamp set of sea shells. There is a link to the DeNami Blog on my favorite blogs list, go visit them, they have the cutest stamps. The sketch that I used I found on the DeNami blog a long time ago, it is such a quick and simple layout, and perfect for small stamps. So, here is what a created:

Card Stock ~ Stampin Up - Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White.
Ink ~ SU Close to Cocoa, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake.
Retired SU Ribbon, SU Scallop Circle Punch. Cuttlebug Embossing folder

Welcome to Stamp-n-doodle Monday!!! I have got to make this a very quick post because I am moving today and I am still not finished packing. We are showing you creations this week, with the image "Surf's Up". The challenge was to use Yellow, Blue plus one other color. Well, I almost did that, I used yellow, Blue and two other colors. That is a hard challenge. So, here is what I came up with:

Go visit the other DT member's blogs, then go to the SND blog and enter your creations to win free digis.

Stamp-n-doodle Monday!

Welcome to Stamp-n-doodle Monday! We DT ladies are working with a new image called "I Got You Babe", and it is am image of two Lemurs cuddling up together! My favorite Stamp-n-doodle images are the animals and nature related images. I recently asked Lynne the owner of SND to create some more Animal images, so she did! Thanks Lynne, I love them all!!! Lynne also created some new summer images that are cute as well, and so during the rest of July and August we will be showing you all of these new images. So, keep coming back to visit our blogs each Monday!

Now, we were asked to make a card relating to love and romance with this adorable image! So, I created the following for my hubby just because I love him. Hope you like it!

Sympathy Card

Is what I am showing you today. I wanted to keep it very simple, so I made a one layer card with some heat embossing on the front, and a digital sentiment on the inside. My friend's father-in-law past away very suddenly last week, so I thought a handmade card would be a nice gesture. Please forgive my photography, the colors just didn't photograph very well. Here it is:

I got out my retired Stampin Up Soft Sky card stock, and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. The cross stamp is from The Rubber Stampede, and the sentiment is from Stampin Up. A little bit of SU retired gold cord tied in a bow, and that was it. Oops, almost forgot to mention a turquoise sticky gem in the cross center!

The sentiment above was typed in MS Word and printed out on my printer, with some Soft Sky ink brushed along the edges.

Fastest card I ever made I think!

Until next time..............Blessings, Lisa

A Soft Pencil Farewell Blog Hop!!!

As you all may remember, Soft Pencil Studios has decided to stop offering their digital images portion of their store. That portion of the store closes August 1st! We are very sad to hear this news, but on the good side, you can now purchase Elizabeth's adorable images in rubber stamp sets from The Angel Company! Yay! I can't wait to get some. Well, We DT ladies decided to get together and have a blog hop to thank Elizabeth for all of the wonderful digital images and show her how much we all care about her! My design team experience with Soft Pencil has been so enjoyable! Well, Elizabeth remember that scrapbook page that I told that I was going to make? Here it is:

Now, you should have started at the blog of Kerry Kung Lewis, and you should be arriving her at my blog from Jennifer's blog. After leaving my blog, you should be visiting Michelle's blog! Have a fun day hopping!
