He is Risen!!!!!! Happy Easter

hello, I hope this Easter Sunday finds all of you healthy and happy.  A few months ago I purchased a cute little stamp set of crosses, the brand is from Inkadinkado.  I thought Easter would be an appropriate time to start inking them up.  Here is what I made with one of them:

Ok, I loaded the inside photo first, oops.  Trying to cook Easter dinner, so no time to try and fix.  The card stock is Stampin Up, except for the glittery card stock which is Die Cuts with a View, and let me tell you it is awesome, the glitter does not rub off, even when you use punches with it.  Love it.  The embossing folder is Darice and the ink is of course Stampin Up.  Love it.  Ok, off to check on dinner.

Until next time..........Blessings,     Lisa

Easter Cards for the kiddos

I cannot believe Easter is almost here!!!  I have a great niece and nephew that live out on the West Coast and I am in Ohio, so I sent them each a little treat and a handmade card.  They are little tykes in Kindergarten and First Grade, my sweet angels Tristin and London.  Tristin loves Lego's and London loves Hello Kitty, two things that I adored when I was a kid also.  So, I had a great time making these cards.  I hope you like them.  Yes, Trisitn's name on the front is meant to be jumbled and not lined up evenly.  Here they are:

I cut out the rectangles on the lego card and used a 1/2" circle punch for the dots, and a white prismacolor pencil to add a little depth to them.  The letter stamps are from a retired Stampin Up set.

The hello Kitty card was made with some Sizzix Di-cuts, a Stampin Up trio flower punch, and a Spellbinder's label di-cut.  I forget which label, sorry.

To my sweet little angels I just want to tell you once again, that even though I live so far away, I love you very much!!!!  Have a very happy and fun Easter and be good kids for your mom!!

Until next time..........Blessings,   Lisa

2 Cute Ink

Ok, it has been almost a year since I blogged about my crafting adventures.  I even forgot how to use blogger it has been so long.  I have been super busy trying to get a new bachelors degree, yes I have one already, but have not been able to find a job using it for years.  So, I am trying a new field.  I have less than a year to go to earn a degree in Database Administration.  Yay!  I can hardly wait!

In my spare time, of course i have been crafting.  I have also been dabbling with some new company's' stamps.  Today I bring a baby gift card using a digital image from 2 Cute Ink.  Just click on their name and you can see their blog and store.  Her images are way too cute for words.  So without any further delays, here is my card:

I am not 100% sure if she still has this image available, but she has a Facebook page and if you want an image that she does not have in her store, ask her to put it there, maybe she will do that for you.

Well, that is all for today.  Please come back and tell your friends about my blog, I am afraid that my long absence has taken away a few of my followers and that makes me sad.  I have quite a stash of new cards made just waiting to be posted though, so I will be back!!!!!!!!!

P.S.  Did you know that the word "Facebook" is in the spell check dictionary on blogger?  LOL, I have been away too long, that shocked the bazoodles out of me.

Until next time.............Blessings,  Lisa
