2 Cute Ink

Ok, it has been almost a year since I blogged about my crafting adventures.  I even forgot how to use blogger it has been so long.  I have been super busy trying to get a new bachelors degree, yes I have one already, but have not been able to find a job using it for years.  So, I am trying a new field.  I have less than a year to go to earn a degree in Database Administration.  Yay!  I can hardly wait!

In my spare time, of course i have been crafting.  I have also been dabbling with some new company's' stamps.  Today I bring a baby gift card using a digital image from 2 Cute Ink.  Just click on their name and you can see their blog and store.  Her images are way too cute for words.  So without any further delays, here is my card:

I am not 100% sure if she still has this image available, but she has a Facebook page and if you want an image that she does not have in her store, ask her to put it there, maybe she will do that for you.

Well, that is all for today.  Please come back and tell your friends about my blog, I am afraid that my long absence has taken away a few of my followers and that makes me sad.  I have quite a stash of new cards made just waiting to be posted though, so I will be back!!!!!!!!!

P.S.  Did you know that the word "Facebook" is in the spell check dictionary on blogger?  LOL, I have been away too long, that shocked the bazoodles out of me.

Until next time.............Blessings,  Lisa

Soft Pencil Tuesday!

Welcome to Soft Pencil Tuesday! Stamp-n-doodle Day has been changed to Wednesdays! As you may remember, Soft Pencil Studios has more than just Digital images now, they have stickers, rub-ons, clear stamps! Love them all! I decided to make a couple of scrapbook pages using one of the sticker sheets called "Best Friends" in Blue. I thought it would make some cute baby pages for my nephew's baby pictures. Now that he is all grown up, I am starting a scrapbook of his pictures. Ha Ha, better late than never. I actually already made one of him, but gave it to him as a gift. So this one is for myself. Anyhoo, here is the first page:
Here is an enlargement of one of the stickers:
This is page number two:
Once again an enlargement of one of the stickers:
Last but not least, this is what happens when you try to take photos of your creations on the floor and you own a kitty: Couldn't resist posting this one.
Now, go visit the other DT ladies blogs, and leave them some love, then go visit the Soft Pencil Studios Blog where you will find a link to their store! Look on my sidebar for links to the other blogs! Until next time..........Blessings, Lisa

Soft Pencil Wednesday?????

Yep, you read that correctly. I have had a lot going on in my life lately that I am lacking some crafting mojo. This drives my crazy because I love crafting. I am so sorry that I missed Soft Pencil Tuesday, but better late than never. This week we DT ladies were asked to work with the image called "Rainy Cloud", and it is from the newly released "Sky Collection".

I had a vision of a baby boy card when I looked at this image, so this is what I came up with:

I colored in the image with a combination of Prismacolor markers and the light blue areas are colored with smooch shimmer paint. I sponged the cloud with Stampin Up Bashful Blue Ink. I attached the completely adorable ribbon that I received in the mail from fellow DT member Kerry with my staples, and covered them with cute little blue buttons from DCWV.The sentiment is from the Stampin Up stamp set called Tiny Tiny Wishes (my favorite). The DP is Provo Craft, the image and sentiment are matted with SU Ballet Blue card stock.

Now hop on over to the soft pencil blog and see what the other DT ladies created with this image.

Until next time................................Blessings, Lisa

More Stickers on Cards!!

Happy Sunday to everyone!!! I found some cute fuzzy baby stickers in the clearance section of Archiver's store, and thought they might look cute on some cards. They were created by a company called "The Little Yellow Bicycle", from their Flannimals, baby safari collection. There were 4 stickers in the package....a frog, an elephant, a hippo, and a giraffe, except that my 11 year old daughter confiscated the giraffe, so I have 3 cards to show you.
Here is the Frog. Isn't he a cute little fuzzy froggie? Love him!!!!
Here is the Elephant. This one kind of made me say "hmmmmm", but sort of cute.
Here is the hippo. Love this one too!!!
Just so you could see their awesome fuzziness, I added a close up of the hippo!

So, next time you are visiting your local Archiver's store, check out the clearance section with great detail, you never know what you might find. Hope you didn't mind me repeating the sketch form the Clean an Simple Blog, I was on a roll.

Products used: Card stock~SU Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Almost Amethyst, Barely Banana, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue. Designer Paper~ Amuse, SU retired, and unknown gifted to me from my friend Kerry.

I hope you like them, I had fun making them. Take care and as always..............

Until next time...........Blessings, Lisa
