Hello, Happy Friday to everyone! As promised I have a card to show you with some gorgeous Gold outline stickers, and here it is:

I used Stampin Up's Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, and Whisper White card stock. The scalloped border is an EK Success border punch called Scalloped Scallops, and the ribbon is from Michael's craft store. After carefully placing the stickers on some card stock, I colored in some of the open areas with some SU markers (Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, and Daffodil Delight, and Night of Navy). The reason I said carefully placed, is because these stickers are very delicate. In case you have never seen them before, I posted a photo below of a sheet of them so you can see how they look before they are used.

The photo below is a close up of how the sheet looks after you use some of them, the cool pattern on the right is left behind. Now there is a way to use that awesome leftover pattern that you are seeing on the right side using some tape, but I have not attempted that one yet. When I do, and if I succeed (lol), I will certainly share it on my blog. I saw a demonstration at a convention, but watching and doing are often two different things.

Now, if you would like to try these beautiful little stickers on your paper crafts, I recommend, going to on online store called Frantic Stamper, Inc. They have a huge selection of them and many other products, and are honest people. I have ordered from them several times. For a link to their store and outline stickers click here. When you do, scroll down until you see "peel off stickers" on the left hand side.

Until next time........Blessings, Lisa

Outline Stickers on Cards?

Hello. I decided to step away from stamping for tonight's post. I did however stay with Stampin Up's Card stock. It is such a great quality card stock for card making, you just can't beat it. I got out some Gold outline stickers that I have had around for 2 years, and decided to play with them. For those of you who have never seen them, which can't be very many of you...they are a very delicate, classy looking sticker that you can do so much with. I decided to do a Fall card with my leaf stickers. Here is the card. The photo doesn't really do it justice. First I chose my colors: Creamy caramel for the base, the leaf is on Speckles Ivory, which is matted onto Close to Cocoa, then popped up onto Really Rust which is also popped up. Now for how I made the leaf look iridescent. This was so simple; all I did was put the sticker onto some Iridescent orange paper, then cut it out, which you can do easily with a pair of small paper snips. I will admit, that it takes just little bit of patience. I love cutting, so I didn't mind a bit. I took another photo of the card at a different angle, so that you could see that the paper under the leaf was orange. You know how iridescent paper looks different depending on what angle you are looking at it. Well, I know that iridescent paper is not easy to find, and I got this at the stampaway convention a couple of years ago here in the burbs of Cincinnati. Unfortunately, I can't remember what the booth's name was. I do know a couple of online stores that might have it, and they definitely have the outline stickers, in several colors. I will post a link to those stores at the end of this post. I have shopped with both of them, and they are wonderful stores. Anyways, here is that other view I mentioned earlier. Now I promised you a couple of links to online stores. Oh, one of them; Marco's paper is having an awesome sale right now, and I think they always have the best price on Nestibilities diecuts. Here they are:

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! God Bless!
