I used my favorite Stampin Up shades of Lavender Lace on the card as you can see, please Stampin Up bring back my purples! I can't believe they retired so many of them!
Until next time..........Blessings, Lisa

Our challenge was to use our favorite school colors, so I chose my High School, up in the very small town of Convoy, Ohio called Crestview HS. Our colors were Red, White and Blue. Actually the blue was more of a royal blue, we were a patriotic school I guess. People used to laugh when I told them my school colors. I chose to use the navy blue variation instead, please forgive me my awesome DT coordinator Audrey!!!!! The white card stock is SU's Whisper White, the the Navy and Red are an unknown misc. from my paper stash. The patterned paper is from "Me and my Big Ideas"; which between you and I that is an odd company name. LOL . Anyways, the Flower was sent to me by my awesome friend Kerry whom I work with at Soft Pencil Designs. Kerry sent me that one and more in a package of flowers by Imaginise, love their products! Thanks Kerry, You are awesome!!!! The flower center is simply a sticky gem thingy from Making Memories. Lastly, the sketch is from Splitcoast Stampers and it is sketch challenge SC283.
Come back and visit me again today, as I have an announcement from Soft Pencil Designs to tell you and another announcement about something else exciting as well!
Until later today.........Blessings, Lisa
So, did I tell you the truth? It is a cutie, isn't it! I am kind of a flower lover though, I must confess! Anyways, it is hard to see in the photo, but the shape that I cut out and placed behind the image is from a Die Cuts With a View card stock stack that I won as part of blog candy on a friend's blog Becca Feeken. Becca gives away awesome blog candy. Someday, when I am back to work, I hope to be able to give away blog candy! Anyways, the card stock has little pink flowers that are embossed, love it! I haven't worked with ribbon in a really long time, so I thought I should challenge myself to do that, and oh boy am I ever out of practice! What a pitiful bow that I tied. I need to practice, practice, practice.
Now, pop on over to the soft pencil blog (link on my sidebar) and see her latest post because Elizabeth has introduced some new products from her digi world! They are very cute! I am sure that we DT girls will be showing off some of the new stuff in the near future.
I have a bunch of new cards that I have been working on, so come back to visit my blog everyday to see what I am posting.
Until next time..... Blessings, Lisa
The colors didn't quite come out quite as well as in person, but sometimes photos are that way even after we try to edit them on some software. Urgh! All in all, not a good day for me with technology! Lets hope I find a solution soon! So, pop on over to the Stamp-n- doodle blog and check out what is going on over there, there is a free digi offered quite frequently.
Stay tuned for another post with a Soft Pencil image shortly.
For those here to see Stamp-N-Doodle, I will posting something with their images tomorrow, Friday!
Until next time............Blessings, Lisa
Isn't she adorable with her little summer dress with flowers on it, and the little Bichitos "little bugs" around her. Like the previous post, I used some of the flower images to accent the page, but I also decided to add a few of the Bichitos as well, since she has them with her in the image. So, here is the entire page:
I am in a big hurry, so I am going to refer you back to the other post that I mentioned earlier to tell you what products and colors that I used on this page, as they are the same. So, scroll back up to the top and click on that link, it will be highlighted a different color than the rest of the text.
Yes, I am still working on some other things using some new Stampin Up stamp sets, hostess sets to be exact, as soon as I get those finished, I will post them for you to see.
Until next time.........Blessings, Lisa
I started out just coloring the image with my Prismacolor pencils, then decided to cut it out with one of my Spellbinder's Oval Nestibilities. Then, I decided to choose a sketch from my book of Splitcoast sketches, and chose an old one: SC167. You can find a master list of all of their sketches on their website under forums and sketch challenges. I ran a piece of SU Bashful Blue card stock through my cuttlebug with my bubbles embossing folder (I am not sure that is the correct name of the folder). Then I cut it into the rectangular sizes that were shown on the sketch. I put the image and the embossed pieces onto the card, and decided it needed something else. So, I remembered that I had a stamp set from "Our Craft Lounge" called "Bubbles". I stamped, colored and cut out the ocean floor stamp and the bubbles stamp and added those to the card. Then I decided that I would heat emboss the raised areas of the dry embossed rectangles with clear embossing powder. Now, this can be done two ways, but since I already had everything adhered to the card, I had only one choice, color the raised areas with my Versamarker, add the powder, then heat set. The second way would have been to dab your Versamark ink pad onto the raised areas, add powder, then heat set. That about sums it up. Pop onto the other DT member's blogs and see what they came up with for today's image. Then, pop on over to the Stamp-n-doodle blog and store and see what is new there.
Also, come back around noon Ohio time, and see what I came up with for this week's Soft Pencil image!
Until Later today....................Blessings, Lisa
I thought the dog looked like a golden retriever, so I colored him to look like one. I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color the image. The card stock and designer paper is all from Stampin Up: Crumb Cake, Bashful blue, and retired dsp. The little squares in each corner have sparkle inside them, but it is hard to see in the photo. Of course when someone says "sparkle", I also have to add my favorite sticky gems, these I believe are from the Archiver's dollar spot.
There is a link to the Stamp-n-doodle blog and store on my sidebar, click on the Design Team logo. The owner posted last week's image "Tiger Eyes" (scroll down to see that one) on the company blog as a freebie, go grab it while you can, and take a look at their other digi and rubber stamp images in their shop, they are gorgeous! If you still need some inspiration, visit the other DT blogs (see my sidebar) and see what they have come up with.
Everyone take care, and see you back here again soon with some new Stampin Up stuff!
Blessings, Lisa
I used Stampin Up Rich Razzleberry for the card base, some coordinating retired designer paper under the image and I cut the image out with my Scalloped Rectangle Nestibilities, leaving it in the rectangle while I sponged the background with some Bashful Blue and Old Olive ink. Next I colored the image and outlined the sentiment with my Stampin Up markers . The final touch of some punched flowers with my retired flower punch from Stampin Up and some sticky gems for their centers. That sums it all up, go visit the other DT blogs and leave them some kind words.
Stay tuned for Stamp-n-doodle which I will have posted in a little bit.
Oh also, my ex-Stampin Up leader let me borrow some of the new stamp sets to play with and I am working those behind the scenes, so hopefully I will be able to start getting those posted in a day or two.
Until next time.....Blessings, Lisa
