Soft Pencil Tuesday!!!

Hello everyone and welcome to Soft Pencil Tuesday!!! It is 3am here in Ohio, and I can't sleep, so I might as well be crafting and blogging. Silly me. Anyhoo, We DT ladies are showing you creations this week with the new image called "Charmy on a Cupcake", and she is so cute! Here is what I made with it:

So, what do you think? Yep, me too, I thought that Charmy's wings needed some Stickles on them, but I forgot, and after the horrible time I have capturing a good photo, I gave up on the idea. I took a couple of photos under a light, not good tonight, the card looked jaundiced, like when your skin is yellowed. Yucky!!! so, I moved it to my black keyboard where the lighting stinks, and wow, got a better photo. Strange, huh? It's amazing what different types of lighting can do to a photograph, and I should have remembered this back from 1993 when I was in college and took that photography course. Yep, just like I remember all of that Calculus, etc........ Ok, hopefully I have you laughing by now, but if not, so sorry.

Go visit the other DT ladies and see what cuteness they are posting with this adorable image today, and then rush right on over to the Soft Pencil store and buy some digi images, because they will be closing August 1st!!!

Then........come back and visit me next Tuesday because I will be showing you something made with Ratiny on a cupcake!!!!! Love him!!!!!!!

Until next time................Blessings, Lisa

Baby Buds

Is the name of a digi image that I found recently, and I have picked up a couple of freebies that they posted, so I thought I would share a card that I made with one of their images. Here she is:

I hope you like her and no I am not on the Baby Buds DT, I just love her cute little images. However, if I were you, I would hop on over to their blog and store and see what she has to offer, her prices are really reasonable and she is having a really big sale right now. Here is a link.

Until Next time.....................Blessings, Lisa

Soft Pencil Tuesday!

Welcome to Soft Pencil Tuesday! This week we DT ladies are showing you creations made with the new image called "Amy on a Cupcake"! Isn't she a cutie? I couldn't resist using some lavender stickles on the icing, and trying a new color combo that I have never used before.... Purple and Green. I saw the ribbon on the card at Michael's Craft store a while back and snatched it up, now I had to put it to use. Hope you like it!

I think this image would make an adorable birthday card for a little girl, but would look great on party invitations, thinking of you cards, miss you cards, you get the idea....

Hop on over to the other DT blogs and see what cute things they have created with this image, then hop on over to the Soft Pencil blog and store and snatch up the cupcake collection and many other cute images.

Until next time..........................Blessings, Lisa

Stamp-n-doodle Monday!

Hello, welcome to Stamp-n-doodle Monday! We officially are taking this week off, although there is a challenge on the company blog. I decided to post something anyways with one of the completely awesome wildlife images available at Stamp-n-doodle! These are my favorite images, mainly because I am a completely obsessed animal freak! Anyhoo, I am showing you a card that I made with the adorable Panda image. Here it is:

I used one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders to make the bamboo background and I used some chalks to the raised parts to add some more dimension to it. I colored the image with my Berol Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment was punched out with my Stampin Up Modern Label punch, the flowers were punched with my SU Boho Blossoms punch, and all sticky gems were from Michael's Craft Store.

Hop on over to the Stamp-n-doodle blog and store (link on my sidebar), and see what is happening this week, and we DT ladies will return next Monday with more inspiration for you to see.

Come back and visit me tomorrow to see the new images for June from Soft Pencil Studios.

Until Next time..........Blessings, Lisa

Soft Pencil Wednesday?????

Yep, you read that correctly. I have had a lot going on in my life lately that I am lacking some crafting mojo. This drives my crazy because I love crafting. I am so sorry that I missed Soft Pencil Tuesday, but better late than never. This week we DT ladies were asked to work with the image called "Rainy Cloud", and it is from the newly released "Sky Collection".

I had a vision of a baby boy card when I looked at this image, so this is what I came up with:

I colored in the image with a combination of Prismacolor markers and the light blue areas are colored with smooch shimmer paint. I sponged the cloud with Stampin Up Bashful Blue Ink. I attached the completely adorable ribbon that I received in the mail from fellow DT member Kerry with my staples, and covered them with cute little blue buttons from DCWV.The sentiment is from the Stampin Up stamp set called Tiny Tiny Wishes (my favorite). The DP is Provo Craft, the image and sentiment are matted with SU Ballet Blue card stock.

Now hop on over to the soft pencil blog and see what the other DT ladies created with this image.

Until next time................................Blessings, Lisa
