Asian Inspired Monday

Hey, Happy Monday to all of you!!! I often like to play with the card sketches on the Clean and Simple Blog, and I treated myself to a new stamp set last month when they were on sale at JoAnn's fabric and Craft Store called Asian Inspired. First the sketch: Here is the stamp set that I used: I used the little flower stamp from the set and made this card: The DSP is from DCWV Far East Mat pack. The ink is SU Baja Breeze and Bayou Blue, the CArd stock is SU Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze, and the button is from DCWV. Hope you like it. Come back and visit me tomorrow for Soft Pencil Tuesday!!! Stamp-n-doodle Wednesday!

Hey! Welcome to Stamp-n-doodle Wednesday! The challenge this week is to use swirls in your design, and the project is not just for cards, it can be a scrapbook page, something altered, whatever you want as long as there are swirls on it. I have a Cuttlebug embossing folder that has swirls in it, so I chose to use that. The image that I used is called "please", it has my favorite cute little girl eating an ice cream cone with a little doggie begging her for some. It is too cute! I hope you like it! Now, you don't have to use a Stamp-n-doodle image on your creation for the weekly challenge, but if you do, you get an extra entry. So, go visit the other DT ladies blogs for more inspiration, then go to the SND blog and join the weekly challenge to win free digi images!!!! Until next time............Blessings, Lisa

Stampin Up Stipple Shells

Hey, welcome to Friday! Yay! Everybody loves Friday, I love it this week because my wonderful daughter turns 13 on Saturday!!! I just want her to know how wonderful I think she is and how much I love her!!! She loves the beach, and like her father and I cannot wait to go visit it again someday after mom gets back to work and saves up for the trip! So, until then, she can come visit my blog and enjoy the following card: I saw a card very similar to this on the Hero Arts blog, and had to give it a try. I stamped randomly with the retired stamp set SU Stipple Shells with a Versamark pad on several different colors of card stock and heat embossed with white Embossing powder, sponged ink around the shells, then punched them out randomly with a 1 inch square punch. The rest is pretty self explanatory. I got about 4-5 cards out of my punched out shells. Hope you like it! Until next time..........Blessings, Lisa
