Stamp-n-doodle Tuesday!

Welcoem to another Stamp-n-doodle Tuesday! We DT ladies have a very cute image of 3 children bringing home their Christmas tree to show off to you today. The image is called "Tree". Here is what I created with it:

As soon as I saw this I knew that I wanted to cut it out with an oval and mount it onto a Stampin Up Top Note Di-cut. The top note was cut out of SU Certainly Celery, the card base is Garden Green. The greeting is from the retired SU stamp set called "Party Punch". I first stamped it in Garden Green ink, and punched it out, then stamped it again in Cherry Cobbler, then punched out the center with a 1" circle punch and layered it on top of the Garden green image with a foam pop dot. I added a couple of red sticky pearls, and that was it. Simple and Elegant was the look that I was after with this image. Hope you like it.

Now, Stamp-n-doodle is hosting their weekly challenge which is using the colors Red, Green, and one other color, I chose Blue. You can also use neutrals and skin colors if you need to. So, visit the other DT members blogs (links on my sidebar), and then the SND blog to join in the weekly challenge to win free digis. Good luck to all of you.

Until Next time..........Blessings, Lisa

Stamp-n-doodle Tuesday!

Welcome to Stamp-n-doodle Tuesday! I was so sick last week with my annual Fall sinus attack, plus I had to work all week at my new job! Yay! I am now employed! Anyhoo, Since I was unable to post last week, I have two cards to show you this week. The first one is a new image that all of the DT ladies are posting with today called "Snowman". I am using one of my favorite sketches that I designed myself on a square 5x5 card. Here it is:

Using the same color scheme, but different sketch and last week's image, here is card number two:

Now, hop on over to visit the other DT ladies blogs for more inspiration, see the links to them on my sidebar, and visit the Stamp-n-doodle blog and join our weekly challenge for a chance to win free images!!!

Clean and Simple Cards

Well, I am really late posting this, the clean and simple blog is able to post their new sketches faster than I can craft with them, but I wanted to still show you this sketch and my samples because it is an awesome sketch with so many possibilities, from using stamps, to buttons, to flowers, to embellishments. Gotta love it! Ok, here is the sketch:

Now, here are all of the cards that I made with it:

This one I used a Martha Stewart Punch

Martha Stewart punch again

Strange little di cuts that I have no idea who made. I run them through my Cuttlebug.

I love this little Turkey

Here is a picture of the di-cuts, if you know their brands, please leave me a comment and let me know. Greatly appreciated.

Oh, please excuse the colors on this photos, not at all good today. We all know by now that my photography skills are not the greatest.

Now, I am off to go visit the clean and simple blog and see how many sketches I am behind on. lol. You can find a link to their blog on my sidebar under my favorite blogs list.

Until next time.......... Blessings, Lisa

The challenge this week is to either dry or heat emboss on our creations, as you can see, I completely forgot to do that! Please forgive me!!! sniff sniff. ok, enough brown nosing. This new image could not have come at a more perfect time, because last week we went to our local SPCA and got a new kitty! He is a 4 month old male kitty that we call Phamton. Here is a picture of the ornery little guy:
