Stamp-n-doodle Wednesday!!!
Welcome back this week for Stamp-n-doodle Wednesday!!! The challenge this week is Embossing, either Wet or Dry Embossing will do. Now, you don;t have to use a Stamp-n-doodle image, but if you do we reward you with an extra entry in the challenge!! I love both kids of embossing, so I had a bunch of fun with this challenge. I used Wet(heat), and dry embossing on my card for this week. A lot of people don;t think about using heat embossing with Digi images, but it is so simple to do. Simply color the areas that you want to emboss with a Versamarker and add your choice of EP, heat like you would if you used a rubber stamp, and that's it. So, here is what I created with the Cardinal image from Stamp-n-doodle:
I used Stampin Up's Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder on the snowy branches of the tree that the pretty cardinal is sitting on. The background was created using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I hope you feel inspired to emboss and join our challenge. Please visit the other DT ladies blogs and the company blog (links on my sidebar), leave them all some much deserved love and join our weekly challenge to win free digis.
